This 4-series workshop is ideal for all ages: students and young adults struggling with school and work challenges to mature adults dealing with stage of life transitions. The course teaches mindfulness through the practice of specific skills that calm and focus the mind so that you can reduce stress & improve the ability to manage responses to everyday challenges. Participants will learn and practice mindfulness meditation, guided imagery, breathing and movement.
This program is based on the Koru method developed by Duke University, and is a unique, evidence-based program for teaching mindfulness and meditation. It is scientifically proven to be effective to help manage stress and enrich lives.
The workshops will be held on Wednesday evenings and on Saturday afternoons starting in September. Attending all 4 classes is highly recommended as that will determine results. Registration is required prior to class.
Cost of class: $100 if paid prior to class or $125 at date of first class. Class Size Limited to 12. Registration is required. 6:30 - 7:15 pm
